MagentoShowcase.co.uk is a small gallery web site run by the guys at Jigowatt. We’ve done a lot of Magento development and design, and feel it’s a shame that there are very few, if any dedicated Magento web site showcases.

That’s where this site comes in. Essentially it’s a place for us to publlically bookmark and share Magento sites which we find to be visually and functionally inspirational. If you’re a Magento developer/designer, the chances are that you will find this useful too

Magento?

Never heard of Magento? Magento is an Open Source shopping cart application with an astounding feature list. We believe it’s one of the best of it’s kind, and so do many others, with new Magento powered online shops opening regularly. But what is so good about it? Rather than explain it ourselves, just take a look at the list of features on the Magento site itself. Impressive stuff. Also, as Magento is Open Source it’s being constantly improved and updated by its massive user base, this makes it a much more attractive prospect than even a bespoke option which will be out of date in 6 months.
